In this current moment, I truly feel at an exceedingly low point.
Thankfully this feeling isn’t mentally, but physically I am not feeling too amazing, and that’s an understatement.
Though, I pushed myself to sit at my desk right now and began writing a post because my ambition wouldn’t allow me to let this get in the way of my daily blogging streak.
I can’t focus, I can’t stomach anything…so, today’s post won’t be something grand as I’d hoped, but:
Whatever is lingering in your mind today that may be weighing you down, ask yourself if it’s useful. Remind yourself of what is truly important to you (hint: this should be a small list) and gently shift your focus to those specific things and engage with them mentally and physically. You have all the power and give life to the thoughts you engage with; make sure you’re spending your energy wisely. Also, don’t neglect your body, listen to what it needs and what is useful for it as well. It’s okay to rest, to slow down, to only progress by 1%…the sun will still rise tomorrow and so will you.
